Rules:
- An
official judge is most likely needed. Someone who is unbiased and familiar
with each and every trick. This could be a contest organizer, local yo-yo
professional, or even a club/class teacher.
- This
contest is done in a ladder format. The tricks are treated like steps on a
ladder. The player that goes the furthest on the ladder is the winner.
(Measuring the last COMPLETED trick)
- Each
contestant is given 2 misses. If a trick is missed, it is recorded as a
miss, and the player moves on to the next trick. They continue on the ladder until their second miss. At
that point, the last completed trick is recorded, and the player is
retired.
- Round
1 and Round 2 can be put together without a break, or a break can be used
for lunch, freestyles etc.
