The AYYA Champion will be decided based on a point system. Point values shall be assigned to a player based on the level of competition and their placement in a freestyle. Everyone who enters a contest will be given points. However, only players who are AYYA members can win the points race, and only contests that are AYYA Sanctioned count towards the point totals. A player may become a member during the tracking season at anytime, and all their points will count in the points race. Thus points ARE retroactive. The year's AYYA Champion will be decided upon using contests between U.S. Nationals.
