AYYA Sanction gets the contest these things: (the organizer may have to request the items after sanction is granted)

• Access to the restricted part of the AYYA website to get potential contest sponsors and logos.
• 1st-3rd place patches for each division (up to 6 sets per contest)
• A "Champions" copy of Lucky's collector guide
• AYYA Champion of the year tracking for competitors
• The OK and procedure to test for AYYA World Records
• Listing/Link on our web page for all upcoming contests.
• The results will be kept as a history of yo-yo events in the USA.
• Legitamacy to the outside world of being an OFFICIAL contest. This has been helpful to secure media at the events for some contests, and it has even settled disputes as to WHO runs the OFFICIAL STATE contest.

One of the best things is for the beginning organizer. The AYYA will go over the entire site to make sure they have all the necessary basic information needed for players coming to the contest. (i.e. time, date, directions, trick lists that will not create ties, hotel info if needed, judges information). Basically the AYYA will use our expertise with contest organization to make sure they have not made any major errors.

This is primarily helpful to the first time contest organizer......or the busy one....we do not list a contest as Sanctioned on the AYYA site until it has been inspected and approved by the AYYA.
