At least once a year, the AYYA releases a special yo-yo that only the members can buy.

The Board of Directors selects the yo-yo based on specific criteria. In the early years of providing this yo-yo, the BOD tried to keep the price point VERY low, so that all members could afford one. That idea was later changed so that the AYYA yo-yo would be representative of the top yo-yos being designed and produced during the year it is released. The production run is often very limited, and since only members of the AYYA can purchase this yo-yo, it is hard to find anyone with a complete set.
